I offer virtual video art therapy to clients who may not live near enough for in-person therapy or just prefer a virtual experience!
Online art therapy is just as beneficial as in-person art therapy. The only difference is you get to be in the comfort of your own home and you will need to supply your own art materials.
We use a platform called Power Diary. I will send you a link before the beginning of each session. Power Diary follows all electronic privacy laws.
If you are interested in online art therapy as an option, please feel free to reach out to me!
Online Art Therapy
What you'll need
- Have a good and reliable internet connection.
- Have a place that allows you some privacy for your session.
- Set yourself up with the right lighting, a hot drink, a cozy blanket. Use whatever you need to make your space feel comfortable for our session.
-Art materials near by. You don't need to spend a lot of money on materials. If you all you have is a pen and paper, we can work with that. The dollar store has amazing, affordable materials. I suggest grabbing materials you enjoy working with. Whether that's drawing materials, paint, natural materials, yarn, fabrics, collage images, clay, etc. You can let me know what is accessible to you and we can work with that.
