For Therapy Services:

If you become a client, we collect:

3. No Therapeutic Relationship from Contact

Submitting a form, subscribing to a newsletter, or purchasing a product does not establish a therapeutic relationship.
A therapeutic relationship is formed only after completion of an intake process and signing a formal consent agreement.
 

4. Payments
 

Website Purchases:

For art therapy-related resources, digital products, or workshops, payments are processed through Wix Payments, which complies with PCI-DSS and relevant privacy standards. Learn more: Wix Privacy Policy
 

Therapy Session Payments:

Clients may pay for therapy services via e-transfer to a secure and dedicated business email address. While e-transfers are not encrypted end-to-end, we ensure:

• Payment details are stored securely within encrypted bookkeeping software

• No personal health information is included in the transfer memo

• E-transfer confirmation is treated as financial, not clinical, data
   

5. Consent

By interacting with this website or providing information for services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined here.
You may withdraw consent at any time, except where retention is required by law or professional regulation.
 

6. Storage & Security

• Clinical records are stored in Carepatron, a secure, PIPA-/PIPEDA-compliant electronic health record system

• Website data is stored securely on Wix servers

• Only authorized personnel have access to your information

• Records are retained for 10 years after the last service date, or 10 years after the age of majority (28) for minors
   

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Request access to your personal information

• Correct any inaccuracies

• Withdraw consent, where appropriate

• File a privacy complaint with:

  • Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of BC

  • Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario

  • Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada
     

8. Third-Party Services We Use

We work with trusted third-party platforms that may collect or store your data:

• Wix – website hosting, payments, forms

• Carepatron – clinical documentation

• Google Analytics – anonymous website insights

• MailerLite (or similar) – newsletter distribution
